About Your Chef

“My love of food began in my family’s restaurant in Sag Harbor, New York. It was there that I learned the value of hard work, consistency, and genuine hospitality. That foundation stayed with me through my years serving in the United States Air Force and later in gourmet catering in the Hamptons and private dining clubs in Michigan.

After returning to the Hamptons to begin private chef work, I eventually brought my experience to Louisville, where I have spent the past six years creating customized dining experiences for clients across the city.

I learned my craft through mentorship and hands-on practice rather than formal culinary school. This path has allowed me to explore many styles of cooking and to work confidently across a wide range of dietary preferences. I do not believe in limiting myself to one specialty. Instead, I design each menu around the occasion, sourcing fresh and organic ingredients from local farms whenever possible.

Whether it is an intimate dinner, a special celebration, or weekly meal preparation, my goal is simple. I want to create food that brings people together and leaves a lasting impression.”

  • For prepared meals, I can provide dishes or you may supply your own. All dishes must be glass to ensure quality and presentation.

  • Yes. While most of my work is in Louisville, I am available to travel to surrounding areas for special events or private bookings.

  • I can sometimes accept last-minute requests. These bookings are subject to higher rates due to the additional planning and sourcing required.

  • Absolutely. I am available for short-term hire for clients staying in Louisville for the Derby, in an Airbnb, or during extended visits.

  • No. I am a personal chef focused on intimate, customized dining rather than large-scale catering.

  • I specialize in seated dinners for 2–16 guests. This allows me to maintain a high level of attention and quality without the need to rent equipment.

  • While I do not use the term “meal prep,” I offer freshly prepared meals that can be left in your home for reheating. I can also cook in my kitchen and deliver the dishes to you. These meals are customized and high-quality, not mass-produced options.

  • At the heart of my service is a commitment to a truly bespoke culinary experience. Because I focus on sourcing the finest seasonal ingredients and tailoring every menu to your specific preferences and dietary needs, I don't offer 'standard' rates. This high-touch approach ensures that your investment is reflected in the caliber of the ingredients and the level of service provided. I prefer to begin our relationship with a brief conversation to understand your vision, which allows me to provide a custom proposal as unique as the event itself.
